Prabhu
Deva
has
irked
a
Tamil
association
for
associating
himself
with
Jacqueline
Fernandez,
a
Sri
Lankan
based
actress.
The
director
has
roped
the
actress
for
his
forthcoming
Hindi
movie
Ramaiya
Vastavaiya,

(HMK),
a
political
organisation
of
Tamil
Nadu,
has
raised
objection
over
the
inclusion
of
Jacqueline
Fernandez
in
the
movie
Ramaiya
Vastavaiya.
According
to
the
outfit,
being
a
Tamilain,
the
dancer-turned-director
should
not
have
roped
in
a
Sri
Lankan
actress
considering
the
ongoing
tension
between
Tamil
Nadu
and
Sri
Lanka.
The
organisation
has
accused
Prabhu
Deva
of
being
insensitive
towards
Tamilians.
HMK
believes
that
when
Tamil
groups
are
calling
for
a
ban
on
trades
between
India
and
Sri
Lanka
over
the
genocide
issue,
Prabhu
Deva
is
casting
Jacqueline
Fernandez
in
his
Hindi
film
Ramaiya
Vastavaiya
that
has
to
be
criticised.
It
has
to
be
noted
that
in
the
ongoing
IPL,
Sri
Lankan
cricketers
and
match
officials
have
been
asked
not
to
be
part
of
the
matches
played
in
Chennai
considering
the
growing
tensions
in
the
state
over
the
genocide
issue.
