Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra is getting a rare honour, which was earlier received by only one person from Indian films. Guess what? Well, the actress is now a chapter for CBSE students. Earlier, superstar Rajinikanth had found a place in the books.
Priyanka Chopra's lesson will be in the subject - Environmental Studies. The first chapter Roving Families will throw light on Priyanka's life. The actress was born and brought in a Military family. As a result, she constantly shifted homes and adapted to different kind of people in different parts of the country. This part has found place in the book.
Earlier, Rajinikanth, for the first time in India's history, became a chapter for CBSE students. It was about an actor's success story. The chapter was under the section: Dignity of Work. Published by Oxford University Press, the chapter consisted the extract of his life from a conductor to a superstar and also includes excerpts from his friend Bahadur, who was a past colleague of Rajini later became a bosom friend. Well, Priyanka Chopra debuted in Kollywood movie Thamizhan. The film starred Illayathalapathy Vijay and it was directed by Majeeth. She had received positive feedbacks from audience in her first film.
Since then, Priyanka Chopra has not turned back into Tamil films. But the actress forayed into Telugu films Apururoopam in 2005. It was the last movie Priyanka did in a South film.
Priyanka Chopra had been receiving a lot of offers from Tamil films. But the actress has not signed any, as no script has impressed her in Kollywood after Thamizhan. It has to be noted that last year when the actress was in Chennai, she had expressed her wish to work in Tamil films and more importantly with namma Illayathalapathy again.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra, who is one of the top actresses in Bollywood today, has handful of movies. Zanjeer, Planes, Gunday, Milan Talkies and a biopic of Mary Kom are her forthcoming Hindi films.
