Raanjhanaa: Dhanush hits jackpot at Box Office
Dhanush has got a dream debut in Bollywood with recently released Raanjhanaa. Indeed, he has also become the only South actor, in a more than a decade, to taste commercial success in Hindi film industry.
The 'Kolaveri di' hitmaker could not imagined himself when he signed Raanjhanaa that he would be welcomed in such a manner by critics and audience. Dhanush's movie has got a flying start at Box Office, thereby, keeping his first steady foot forward.
His debut movie Raanjhanaa has done wonderful business and topped the international collection chart in its opening weekend. The biggest advantage for the film is that Tamil audience have turned up to watch the movie in order to see Dhanush's performance.

UK Box Office
Raanjhanaa has collected Rs 65.77 lakhs (£71,708) from 43 screens at the UK Box Office in its opening weekend. It is said to be one of the best collections considering that Dhanush is a newbie to Bollywood.
US Box Office
In the first weekend, Raanjhanaa has collected Rs 2.47 crores ($4,14,211) from 102 screens at the USA Box Office. The collections are expected to be better when the Tamil version hit the screens in this region.
Australian Box Office
The film has collected Rs 1.14 crores (AED 7,00,000) at UAE Box Office in its opening weekend. It has grossed Rs 25.45 lakhs (A$46,394) from 10 screens at the Australia Box Office in four days.
Overall Overseas BO
The movie has collected a total of Rs 5.07 crores ($8,50,000) at the overseas Box Office in its opening weekend at International Box Office.

However, as per the traders, Raanjhanaa is likely to reach Rs 33 cr to Rs 35 crores (Nett.). The film is directed by Anand L Rai and features Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Swara Bhaskar and others in the cast. The Tamil version will release on June 28.
