Will The History Repeat Itself?
The interesting part of the story is that exactly 30 years after the release of Rajinikanth's Hindi debut Andhaa Kanoon, his son-in-law's debut Hindi movie is ready for the release. Will the history repeat itself? Only time can answer.
A Love Story
Directed by Anand L Rai, Raanjhanaa is a love story between a Muslim girl and Hindu boy. It also features Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol and Swara Bhaskar in important roles.
The Tamil version of the film has been titled as Ambikapathy. The film will hit the screens next week.
However, Dhanush's looks in Raanjhanaa have paved way for drawing comparisons between his forthcoming movie and his earlier film 3. But the actor has clarified that there are no similarities between the two movies except for a few scenes in school uniform.
Dhanush's Next Films
Meanwhile, Dhanush has signed two projects in Tamil. He is likely to start working on one of the projects soon, while his second Hindi project with Rai will go on the floor in 2014.
