Rajinikanth, who stood by Kamal Hassan over the ban on Vishwaroopam imposed by the state government, will be watching the much-awaited Tamil movie today (February 6). A special screening is being organised by the Universal Star that will be graced by some of the big names of Tamil film industry.
The buzz says that Rajinikanth will be watching Vishwaroopam after Kamal Hassan requested him to attend the special screening today. The Tamil superstar, who even went on to offer to act for Kamal Hassan for free recently when the latter said that the losses would be heavy to recover if his movie is not released here, will be watching the movie in the special Auro 3D format at the 6 Degrees theatre.
Many big names from the industry are expected to be present at the special screening. Meanwhile, Kamal Hassan will be leaving to Paris for the special French premiere of Vishwaroopam on February 10. He is also planning to screen the film for Bollywood fraternity.
Kamal Hassan directed and starred Vishwaroopam is produced by Charu Hassan. The film, which also features Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Rahul Bose in the leads, landed in trouble after the state government imposed the ban on the film after several Muslim groups objected for some scenes in the movie.
