Director Rasu Madhuravan passes away
Kollywood famous director, story writer and producer Rasu Madhuravan (44) passed away today in Chennai.
Sources say that Rasu Madhuravan was suffering from throat cancer for some time now and last breathed today in Chennai at Kamakshi Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Rasu Madhuravan gave many Box Office hits like Pandi (2008), Mayandi Kudambathar (2009), Goripalyam (2010) and Muthukku Muthaage (2012). His latest flick Sogusu Perundhu starring Yuvan was scheduled to release this year.
He was known for his style of direction in Kollywood. His themes were mainly focused on rural culture and family oriented movies. He got his fame from Mayandi Kudambathar, where the movie starred 10 Tamil directors like Manivannan, Seeman, Tarun Gopi and Ponvannan in the cast.
A large number of Kollywood personalities have condoled the death of Rasu Madhuravan.

Pandi (2008)
Pandi gave a break for director Rasu Madhuravan, starring Raghava Lawrence and Sneha in the lead roles. The movie was released in 2008 and was a moderate success.
Mayandi Kudumbathar (2009)
The movie written and directed by Rasu Madhuravan, was released in the year 2009. The movie cast includes the famous Tamil film directors like Manivannan, Seeman, Tarun Gopi and Ponvannan
Goripalyam (2010)
Released in the year 2010, starring Harish, Vikranth, Ramakrishnan, Raghuvannan and Poongodi, the movie gained a moderate response from the audience.
Muthukku Muthaaga (2011)
Tamil comedy movie written, produced and directed by Rasu Madharavan. The movie had Harish, Natraj, Vikranth, Oviya, Monica, Saranya Ponvannan and Ilavarasu in the lead roles.
Sogasu Perundu
An upcoming Tamil movie which was directed by Rasu Madhuravan. Johnny, Yuvan, Liyasree and Leema are in the lead roles. The movies has wrapped up and scheduled to release this year.
