launched
earlier
today
(January
30).
The
event
was
graced
by
Delhi
Belly
director
Abhinay
Deo,
Kunal
Roy
Kapoor
and
UTV's
Siddharth
Roy
Kapur,
Dhananjayan
Govind,
Arya,
Santhanam,
Premji
Amaren,
Hansika
Motwani,
Anjali,
Na
Muthukumar,
S
Thaman,
director
Kannan,
Gnanavel
Raja
and
others.
Speaking
on
the
occasion,
director
Kannan
said
that
Arya,
Santhanam
and
Premji
Amaren
are
good
friends
in
real
life
too,
and
that
helped
them
translate
the
good
friendship
on-screen.
The
actors,
who
spoke
at
the
event,
claimed
that
it
was
a
good
experience
for
them
to
work
in
Settai
and
they
thoroughly
enjoyed
it.
Settai
album
has
five
tracks
written
by
Na
Muthukumar,
Thamari
and
Madhan
Karky
for
which
Thaman
has
composed
the
music.
It
is
interesting
to
note
that
Madhan
Karky,
who
started
penning
lyrics
with
Kanden
Kadhlai,
which
was
produced
by
G
Dhananjayan
and
directed
by
Kannan,
has
written
his
100th
song
-
Agalathey
Agalathey
-
for
the
same
team.
Vijay
Prakash,
Mega,
Gaana
Bala,
Karthik,
Suchitra,
Andrea
Jeremiah,
Sricharan,
Chinmayi,
Devan
Ekambaram
and
Anbu
Raju
have
lent
their
voice
for
the
songs.
However,
Settai
is
a
remake
of
Bollywood
hit
film
Delhi
Belly,
which
starred
Imran
Khan,
Vir
Das,
Kunaal
Roy
Kapur,
Poorna
Jagannathan
and
others.
