News

By Ramchander
Tamil
actor
Mohan
Raman,
who
has
worked
with
Bollywood
superstar
Shahrukh
Khan
in
forthcoming
movie
Chennai
Express,
is
full
praise
of
the
actor.
The
Hindi
actor's
simplicity
and
down-to-earth
attitude
have
made
him
to
laud
King
Khan.
He
may
be
a
superstar
to
the
world,
but
for
his
co-stars,
Shahrukh
Khan
is
just
a
caring
and
friendly
person,
says
Mohan
Raman.
"He
(Shahrukh
Khan)
is
very
friendly
to
his
co-stars.
He
ensures
that
everybody
around
him
is
well
looked
after.
He
never
makes
you
feel
that
he
bears
the
superstar
title
and,
therefore,
you
feel
more
comfortable
around
him," in
a
press
release,
Mohan
said.
"The
only
superstar
thing
about
him
is
that
he
would
mostly
be
accompanied
by
his
entourage,
which
is
for
his
own
safety.
Otherwise,
it
was
a
pleasure
working
with
him.
I
even
clicked
a
picture
with
him
to
keep
it
as
a
memorabilia,"
he
added.
Known
for
working
in
a
host
of
Tamil
films
and
television
serials,
Mohan
Raman
has
also
worked
in
Hindi
film
Sabse
Bada
Khiladi
starring
Akshay
Kumar
in
1995.

Key
Role

Raman
will
be
seen
in
an

role
in

Rohit
Shetty.

How
Was
It
Working
With
SRK
As
An
Actor?
How
was
it
working
with
SRK
as
an
actor?
"He
would
personally
help
us
with
lines,
whenever
needed.
A
thorough
professional
on
the
sets,
he
is
very
serious
about
his
work.
He
spends
a
lot
of
time
going
through
his
lines
and
rehearsing
to
perfect
them
before
enacting
them,"
Raman
said.
Tamil
Nadu
Connection
As
the
title
suggests,
the
film
Chennai
Express
has
a
Tamil
Nadu
connection.
It
is
about
a
man's
journey
from
Mumbai
to
Rameshwaram
and
what
happens
along
the
way
forms
the
crux
of
the
story.
Interesting
Cast
The
interesting
part
of
the
story
is
that
a
couple
of
Tamil
actors
have
acted
in
the
film,
which
has
Deepika
Padukone
in
the
leads..
While
Manorama
and
Sathyaraj
have
played
key
roles
along
with
Mohan
Raman,
glamorous
actress
Priyamani
has
done
an
item
number
choreographed
by
Mooguru
Sundaram,
the
father
of
Prabhu
Deva.
Release
Date
Well,
Chennai
Express
is
likely
to
be
dubbed
into
Tamil,
like
Shahrukh
Khan's
earlier
film
Ra.One,
considering
the
Tamil
connections.
The
film
will
hit
the
screens
in
August
2013.
