Dhanush's looks in the movie Ambikapathy, the Tamil version of Hindi movie Raanjhanaa, have paved way for drawing comparisons between his forthcoming movie and his earlier film 3. However, the actor has clarified that there are no similarities between the two movies except for a few scenes in school uniform and requested people not to do the same.
Speaking to the press, Dhanush said that he doesn't like comparing Raanjhanaa and 3. It is because they bear no similarity except for a few scenes in school uniform. Both films have different storyline and are quite different from each other in so many ways, claims the 'Kolaveri di' hitmaker.

3 Was Disastarous
3 was an unsuccessful directorial debut of Dhanush's wife, Aishwarya Dhanush. The movie had failed to keep the cash registers ringing at the Tamil Box Office. But the song 'Kolaveri di...' from the film made Dhanush a global name.
Directed by Anand L Rai, Raanjhanaa, which is releasing this Friday, is produced by Eros International. It also features Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol and Swara Bhaskar in important roles.
A Simultaneous Release For Dhanush
Raanjhanaa is simultaneously releasing in Tamil with the name Ambikapathy. Well, Dhanush has dubbed his voice in Tamil for the film whereas seasoned voice artistes from Kollywood have lent their voice for the other cast.
Dhanush's Next, Mariyaan
Meanwhile, Dhanush is also gearing up for his straight Tamil film Mariyaan. It is releasing on June 27, a week after the release of Raanjhanaa.
