Singam 2 - Viewers Review: Surya is the Showman

Singam mania all over. The movie has got a grand opening all over the world. Tamil audience and Surya fans were eagerly waiting to watch Surya roaring as an Indian cop again. The Hari-directed action thriller had high expectations from the day one. With the movie hitting the screens this Friday, it has been getting mixed response from audience.

As expected, it is a mass entertainer for Surya fans. Many viewers opine that Surya is the showman and they have given thumbs up to Hari's direction. Hansika has sidelined Anushka and she has all the possibilities of grabbing the award for Best Supporting Role for her performance in it. Audience also expected a lot from Hollywood baddie Danny Sapani, but his character has got a poor rating.

Few feel that Vivek, who played an important roles in its prequel, has been sidelined by Santhanam. Antagonist role had an high expectation, but Danny Sapani has not reached the mark of Prakash Raj, who was equally responsible for the success of Singam. Tweets state that the director should have had a connection between the roles of Danny and Prakash in the sequel.
