Sona changes her direction; to make her directorial debut

Sona Heiden is one actress, who love to see herself in different shoes. The controversial actress, who turned producer a few years ago, is now gearing up to wear a director's hat for the first time.

The buzz says that Sona Heiden's acting career may not be blooming but she is not ready to sit back and give up her ambition to create a niche for herself in Tamil film industry. Hence, leaving the controversial past behind, the actress has now decided to direct a film.

The 33-year-old is preparing for her first project without much hype and also underwent a short screenplay and direction course recently. After considering a few titles for the film, she has named it Dev, which also happens to be the name of the lead actor in the film.

Sona Heiden will be managing the twin roles of a director and producer. She is also expected to be doing a guest appearance in the upcoming Kollywood flick. Earlier, she had produced films like Kanimozhi and 2010 Bhagyaraj.

Meanwhile, Sona Heiden has signed PT Selvakumar's directorial debut film Onbadhula Guru. She will be sharing screen space alongside Vinay Rai, Anjali, Premji, Lakshmi Rai and others.
