The Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) has decided to call off the shooting on Monday July 15th. In respect to the death of South Producer-entrepreneur Ravi Shankar Prasad, the federation has decided to halt for the day.
"We would have cancelled shooting if today (Sunday) was a working day. Usually, the industry doesn't work on second Sundays of every month and therefore, we have decided to call off shooting on Monday (July 15) in the state to pay our respect to late visionary producer Ravi Shankar Prasad," a statement from FEFSI said.
Ravi Shankar Prasad went missing on July 8th, his body was found on the early hours of July 13th in the banks of Godawari in East Godawari district. The mysterious death of the producer has shocked many film legends of South India. Ravi Shankar Prasad has produced many superhit movies in Kollywood and Tollywood, his notable movies were Shankar Dada MBBS, Mayakkum Enna and Nanban. His upcoming Madha Gaja Raja is scheduled to release this year.
