Superstars Ajith-Vijay Don Khaki
After the success of Singam 2, Kollywood is all set to receive two police movies in the coming days. Latest buzz says that, Thala Ajith and Ilayathalapathy Vijay are set to don Khakis in their forthcoming flicks.
Sources said that, Ajith will be playing a cop in his upcoming movie directed by Vishnuvardhan, and Vijay is also playing a police officer in Jilla, directed by Nesan. However, the movie makers of both the flicks haven't revealed anything about the plot, but reliable sources confirmed the police connection in these two films.
A source close to Ajith says, "Yes, Thala will be playing a cop in the upcoming flick directed by Vishnuvardhan, but it will not be portrayed throughout the film. Ajith will be seen in a cop character in some scenes and will take the story forward."
Recently on sets of Jilla, a scene resembling a felicitation function, involving several junior artists in police uniform, was shot in Chennai.
Sources close to Vijay says, "Jilla has a police element and Vijay is shooting for the scenes that are featuring him as a cop."
Ajith had played a cop role in Anjaneya and Mankatha, whereas Vijay was seen in Khaki in his Blockbuster hit Pokkiri.

Thala Ajith In Anjaneya
Thala Ajith donned police dress in the movie Anjaneya, which was released in the year 2003. The movie deals with the story of an efficient police officer who fights with the scum of the society. Along with Ajith, Meera Jasmine and Raghuvaran starred in the lead roles.
Ajith In Mankatha
Mankatha was the 2011 action movie. The plot revolves around a heist of cricket betting money, executed by a gang of four thieves, who are joined by a fifth unknown man, and its aftermaths. Thala Ajith and Action King Arjun Sarja donned Khaki. The movie was directed by Venkat Prabhu.
Vijay In Pokkiri
Pokkiri is the 2007 action thriller directed by Prabhudeva. Vijay played the role of a police officer, the movie was the remake of 2006 hit Telugu movie Pokiri.

Saamy was 2003 action thriller starring Vikram and Trisha Krishnan in the lead role. The flick was directed by Hari.
Surya And Jyothika In Kaakha Kaakha
Kaakha Kaakha is action drama, starring Surya and Jyothika in the lead role. The movie was directed by Gautham Menon. Surya played the role of a young blooded police officer.
Kamal Hassan In Vettaiyadu Vilayadu
Vettaiyadu Vilayadu is a 2006 crime-thriller film written and directed by Gautham Menon, starring Kamal Haasan, Jyothika, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Prakash Raj. Kamal played the character of DCP Raghavan, who traps the serial killers.

Singam, 2010 action drama, was directed by Hari. Surya played the role of a village cop, who fights against the state don Vailvaganam (Prakash Raj).
Vikram And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In Raavan
Vikram played the role of Deputy Superintendent of police in Hindi commercial movie Raavan directed by Mani Ratnam. He made his appearance in B-Town and shared screen with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Surya In Singam 2
Singam 2 is the sequel to 2010 Singam. After bringing the city under his control in the prequel, Surya locked his horns with Hollywood baddie Danny Sappani. The movie was released on July 5th.
