Will Tamanna be next Asin or Trisha Krishnan?

Actresses moving to Bollywood from South is happening for over the decades. It is a popular practice for actresses to shift their base as they aspire to get noticed in national level. Rekha, Hema Malini and Sridevi are few examples, who ruled Bollywood. But we should also not forget that there are many actresses, who have failed to make a mark in Hindi film industry. So, the success is not guaranteed if you are a star down South.

In recent years, many actresses from South have tried their luck in Bollywood, and Asin Thottumkal is the most successful among the lot. Through her hard work, persistence and desire, the actress has delivered quite a few superhit films in B-Town. But it was not the same with Trisha Krishnan, whose debut Hindi film Khatta Meeta with Akshay Kumar bombed at the Box Office. After her first film, the actress decided to concentrate on her South career than dreaming to make it big and struggle for success in a new territory.

However, Kajal Aggarwal, a Marathi girl who became successful in South movies, struck the gold in her second and third Hindi films. The actress, who started acting career in Hindi, turned towards South after her unsuccessful debut film. Later, when she became a star in South, the actress ventured again into Bollywood and now she has quite a few biggies in her kitty. Like Kajal Aggarwal, Tamanna Bhatia too started her acting career in Hindi but failed to leave any impact. But after working in South films for few years and becoming popular, the Paiyaa girl is game for her second Hindi movie opposite Ajay Devgn.

Tamanna Bhatia, with the posters and trailers of the film, has already started getting positive response. Indeed, she is getting offers in Hindi film regularly but she has given nod to only one film, which stars Akshay Kumar.

The interesting part of the story is that she is stepping into the shoes of yesteryear sensation Sridevi's role in latest Himmatwala, which is a remake of 80s hit film of the same name. It is no wonder that the yesteryear actress has praised the young actress on an earlier occasion and claimed that Tamanna is beautiful and her dancing abilities impressed her.

However, industry watchers are closely awaiting for the release to know whether Tamanna would be next Asin or Trisha Krishnan! Well, only time can answer this question. But Tamanna is not bothered about all other things and wishes to do good work.
