The actor, who had tough times between 2008-10, returned to his great form with Velayudham before his Kaavalan giving him a much-needed break. Demands For Other Regions
There is also a huge demand for other regions' distribution rights. Talks are reportedly on for Karnataka region, and K Manju, who had earlier distributed a few Vijay films, is the prime contender. However, the film is yet to create a buzz in Andhra Pradesh.
The race to buy the audio rights of Thuppakki has already begun. Many top players are in the competition for the music rights, but deal is yet to happen. The film has GV Prakash's music and the audio is likely to release for Vijay's birthday.
Thalaivaa is an action-thriller directed by AL Vijay. The film also features Amala Paul, Santhanam, Sathyaraj, Manobala, Ragini Nandwani and Rajeev Pillai in other cast.
Thalaivaa is jointly produced by Chandra Prakash Jain, CP Sunil and CP Dinesh. The film is made under the banner of Sri Mishri Productions. It will hit the screens in July.
