News

The
powerful
theatre
owners
in
Tamil
Nadu
have
once
again
displayed
their
strength
by
forcing
the
movie
bosses
of
Kochadaiiyaan
to
postpone
its
release
to
accommodate
trouble-free
releases
of
Vijay's
Jilla
and
Ajith
Kumar's
Veeram.
Without
any
options,
the
makers
of
Rajinikanth's
flick
had
to
push
the
release,
which
was
supposed
to
release
for
Pongal.
This
development
has
paved
way
for
mother
of
all
battles,
as
Vijay
and
Ajith
Kumar's
movies
will
clash
at
the
Box
Office.
Jilla
and
Veeram
will
now
hit
the
screens
for
Pongal
and
these
films
will
equally
share
the
cine
screens
in
the
state.
This
has
come
as
a
big
relief
for
the
both
the
films
because
the
Rajinikanth's
Kochadaiiyaan
would
have
played
a
spoilsport.
Recently,
the
movie
bosses
of
Kochadaiiyaan
started
preparations
for
its
release
during
Pongal.
They
started
talks
with
some
theatre
owners
and
booked
screens
for
its
release.
It
came
as
a
shock
for
both
the
film
bosses
of
Jilla
and
Veeram,
as
they
understood
the
impact
that
Rajinikanth's
movie
could
cause
if
it
would
release
along
with
their
flicks.
This
made
theatre
owners
to
take
a
call
on
the
issue
and
come
to
a
conclusion
that
they
support
Jilla
and
Veeram.

A
Stand
They
also
clearly
told
the
makers
of
Kochadaiiyaan
that
they
wish
to
back
Jilla
and
Veeram
and
asked
to
postpone
their
release.
Rajinikanth
In
the
mean
time,
a
few
in
the
industry
spoke
to
Rajinikanth
and
told
him
that
the
makers
of
Jilla
and
Veeram
had
planned
long
before
to
release
their
movies
for
Pongal.

Rajinikanth,
who
was
not
aware
of
the
developments,
told
his
producer
to
push
the
release,
as
he
doesn't
like
to
affect
others' movies.

All
this
made
the
producer
of
Kochadaiiyaan
to
cancel
his
plans
and
push
the
release.
Now,
they
have
reportedly
decided
to
release
