It is interesting to note that AR Murugadoss was the first Indian filmmaker, whose movie earned Rs 100 crore at Box Office. The director's Hindi movie Ghajini was the first film to have reached the milestone.
Thuppakki is an action-thriller, which stars Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal and Vidyut Jamwal in the lead roles.
Thuppakki was opened up to positive reviews by critics and fans. The good content, action sequences and Vijay's power-packed performance remained highlights of the movie.
However, Thuppakki is now being made in Hindi with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. ARM wants this movie to cross Rs 200 crore mark.
