The director said that he is a big fan of Kamal Hassan since his childhood days and his brother Premgi Amaren has been a fan of Rajinikanth. In the interview, Venkat Prabhu said that some day he wishes to work with the Universal Star.
If given an opportunity to direct Kamal Hassan, Venkat Prabhu would like to do a sequel to Vikram. He likes to make films similar to Hollywood's Indiana Jones flicks. In the interview, he also remembered the days when the Universal Star used to take Premji and him on his caravan to show the city around.
Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu's last-week release Biriyani has opened up to mixed reviews. The film, which features Karthi and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles has opened up to good collections in the state despite facing tough competition from Jeeva's Endrendrum Punnagai and Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3.
On the other end, Kamal Hassan is busy with his prestigious project Vishwaroopam 2. The multilingual film will hit the screens in February.
