said
that
the

will
be
fasting
to
divert
the
Tamil
Nadu
government
attention
to
sort
out
the
issue
on
Thalaivaa's
release.
It's
been
a
week
that
the
movie
released
across
the
world
expect
in
Tamil
Nadu.
It
is
also
said
Vijay's
fasting
will
continue
for
two
more
days.
The
actor
has
sought
an
appointment
with
Tamil
Nadu
Chief
Minister,
to
sort
out
the
issue.

seeked
Chennai
City
Commissioner
permission
for
actor
Vijay
fasting
on
the
Thalaivaa's
release
issue.
Talking
about
the
release
Thalaivaa
producer
Chnadraprakash
Jain
said,
"We
have
sought
an
appointment
with
the
Chief
Minister
of
the
state.
We
are
waiting
to
meet
her
and
discuss
the
issue
in
detail.
I
have
already
incurred
huge
loss
due
to
the
delay.
A
further
delay
means
heavy
losses."
Two
days
before
its
scheduled
release
on
Aug
9,
Thalaivaa
was
stalled
from
being
released
when
a
political
outfit
issued
bomb
threats
to
theatre
owners.
Sources
said
that
the
theatre
owners
from
Chennai
had
said
that
they
have
booked
their
theaters
for
other
movies
this
week,
and
it
is
impossible
for
them
to
release
Thalaivaa.
So,
the
movie
is
likely
to
release
next
week,
on
August
23.
