Actor Vijay, Udhayanidhi Stalin's cars under CBI scanner?

Vijay and producer-turned-actor Udhayanidhi Stalin's lavish cars have reportedly come under CBI scanner. The India's premier police department simultaneously raided 20 places in Tamil Nadu for evading Customs Duty in the import of luxury cars of which Ilayathalapathy and the son of DMK politician Stalin's premises were also raided earlier today (March 21).

Vijay is a proud owner of a Regal Rolls Royce Ghost and Udhayanidhi Stalin owns Hummer H3. According to reports, there were more than 30 luxury cars which were imported in the recent years but the provisions of the Transfer of Resident norms were abused for the purpose. The probe was initiated by the Directorate of a Revenue Intelligence (DRI).

As of now, 12 cars have been detected and Udhayanidhi Stalin's car has already been found at a service station. A case will be filed in case evasion of tax if found. Continue reading the news story on the slideshow...

However, the raid carried out by the CBI at Udhayanidhi Stalin and his father MK Stalin's house shocked many as it came after the DMK was pulled out of the UPA on Tuesday and withdrew its ministers on Wednesday.
