The
makers
of
Vishwaroopam's
decision
to
opt
out
of
the
Pongal
release
at
the
last
minute
is
turning
out
to
be
a
blessing
for
other
releases
this
Pongal.

have
not
wasted
any
time.
The
moment
they
sensed
that

could
be
out

they
increased
the
number
of

film,
which
was
supposed

some
financial
issues
but
the
movie
bosses
surprisingly
worked
out
overtime
to
resolve
the
issues
after
Vishwaroopam
left
the
Pongal
race.
Now,
Samar
will
release
as
per
the
announced
date
in
200
screens.
Coming
back
to
Alex
Pandian,
this
is
said
to
be
the
biggest-ever
release
for
a
Karthi
film,
as
the
film
is
releasing
in
close
to
500
screens
in
Tamil
Nadu
alone.
