Vijay's meeting with Narendra Modi has become a talk of the town. The Tamil actor's decision to meet the BJP Prime Minstertial candidate has come as a surprise to many, as his earlier political connections had backfired him. After the Velayudham actor, now, all eyes are on Ajith Kumar, who has stayed away from politics all these years.

Illayathalapathy Vijay always wanted himself to be engaged in decicion making process. His associations during various elections with different parties give you a clear picture about his politicial ambitions. But it is not in case of his on-screen rival, Ajith Kumar. The Thala is apolitical and has no interest in poltics.

As we all know, politics and cinema go hand in hand in Tamil Nadu. During the last assembly elections, Ajith Kumar's fans from different regions, without his consent, involved in politics. Banners of the actor along with local leaders started appearing in some places. And all these developments happened with the support of local fans clubs.

But Ajith Kumar has continued to maintain the same stand. The actor doesn't want to endorse any party and he is not keen to use his popularity for his politicial gains.

Like before, Ajith Kumar will stay away from politics. He is only interested in films and wants only to get recognised for his films than anything else.
