Ajith-Gautham Menon's Film Launched

Ajith starrer film directed by Gautham Menon was launched today (April 9). A formal pooja was held at producer AM Rathnam's Shridi Sai Baba temple in Valasaravakkam, Valasaravakkam, Chennai. But the Thala skipped the event for some reasons.

Sources say that the Ajith Kumar's film will be completed in one strech. As there has been a delay in starting the project, Gautham Menon has decided to wrap up the shoots in one schedule. (Click The Below Image To See Muhurat Gallery)

AM Ratham and his son and director Jyothi Krishna, Ajith's manager Suresh Krishna and others were spotted at the muhurat event.

The movie was supposed to take off on February 15. But Gautham Menon's script works took more time than expected. Moreover, Ajith Kumar wanted the director to come up with bound script. So, the muhurat was delayed, say sources.

Anushka Shetty will be romancing Ajith Kumar for the first time. She will be playing the main female lead role in the mega-budget project. Reports claim that the Thala will be seen in the role of a cop in the flick.
