It's Not Sathya For Ajith-Gautham Menon

There were reports that the makers of Ajith and Gautham Menon's film had zeroed in on the title. It was said that they had finalsied the film name as Sathya. But production house sources have denied any such development.

Rumours were rife that the title of Ajith's next movie was Sathya. After considering a few names, the movie bosses decided to have this title. It was said that the movie was named after the Thala's character.

We have to note that Sathya was the name of a classic movie by Kamal Hassan. And using the same name would benefit Ajith Kumar's latest project. Indeed, the actor's fans felt that it was a powerful name.

However, sources have rubbished the speculations and claimed that the makers of the film are yet to finalise a name. It may be recalled that there were rumours before that the name was Aayiram Thottaakkal.

Currently, media and fans are calling it by the name: 'Thala 55', which refers to the number of films that Ajith Kumar has acted in his career till date.

The upcoming movie is produced by AM Rathnam. Anushka Shetty is playing the female lead role. Harris Jayraj is composing music and Dan Macarthur is the cinematographer.
