Veeram First Day Collections At Box Office
Ajith Kumar's Veeram has rocked at Box Office on the release day. The film has made wonderful collection on the release day. The early reports emerging from traders clearly tell that the producer, distributor and exhibitors have made handsome money.
As it is the Pongal season, the state government gave permission for early dawn screenings and permitted to have five shows for single screens. Ajith Kumar fans, like never before, thronged into theatres to watch their favourite star's movie. Theatre owners can have five shows in one day till January 19.

In Chennai, Ajith Kumar's Veeram, which is made with the budget of Rs 40 crores, ran into packed houses in almost every theatre just like Vijay's Jilla. Multiplexes had completely dedicated majority of screens for both the biggies to meet the demand. Yet there were many, who could not watch the film due to the unavailability of tickets.
A theatre owner explains, "It is surely a festive time for Ajith Kumar fans. People came in huge numbers to watch the early dawns shows. We witnessed only youths and men in large for those shows. Family audience kept away for the morning shows. In total, the family audience turn out were less. It appears like they prefer weekend to watch the flick." Traders are expecting Veeram to make more than Rs 7.5-8 crores on the release day (January 10) in the state. The magic is expected to continue for the next five days.

In Bangalore, Veeram was released in 20+ screens and it witnessed 90+ occupancy here too. The morning shows across the city got almost cent percent. Evening shows got 80+ occupancy.
