It
is
a
known
fact
that
a
series
of
South
Indian
movies
has
been
remade
in
Bollywood
of
late
and
has
managed
to
taste
success
as
well.
Be
it
the
foot-tapping
folk
songs
or
over-dramatized
action
sequences,
the
North
Indian
audience
have
received
the
remake
films
with
open
arms.
The
latest
movie
to
likely
join
the
list
is
Vijay's
Kaththi
and
it
looks
like
Akshay
Kumar,
who
had
earlier
remade
Vijay's
Thuppakki
is
now
eyeing
on
Kaththi
too.
It
is
not
sure
if
A.R.
Murugadoss
will
be
directing
the
Hindi
version
as
well
but
the
insiders
say
that
the
remake
will
be
decided
on
Kaththi's
run
in
the
South.
If
the
movie
goes
on
to
become
a
hit
then,
the
remake
will
begin
sooner
than
expected.
Akshay
Kumar,
who
recently
basked
in
glory
with
his
hit
remakes
from
Telugu
and
Tamil
will
be
keen
to
know
Kaththi's
success
once
it
hits
the
screens
on
October
22,
meanwhile,
Kaththi
which
came
out
clean
from
the
Censor
Board
receiving
a
'U'
certificate
has
been
refused
to
be
banned
by
a
court
after
an
advocate
filed
a
petition
requesting
a
ban
on
the
film.
