Amitabh Bachchan has sung paeans of Rajinikanth at the curtain raiser event of the Hindi version of Kochadaiiyaan. At the event organised in Mumbai, the Bollywood's Mega Star praised the superstar and described people's craziness towards his movies in South.
Big B said that Rajinikanth enjoys a huge fan following among South audience. To get a glimpse of it, one should travel to Tamil Nadu to see how his fans cheer him on the release day of his films.
"Rajini has a huge following in Chennai... South, one must go there and see it. His fans fill up theatres and not all get to see his film first day, first show. Even after several weeks if one goes to see the film, one wouldn't be able to hear anything as fans keep screaming, applauding...it is amazing," Amitabh Bachchan told at the event.
The Bollywood actor wished that Kochadaiiyaan will be a milestone film in this 100th year of Indian cinema. "I hope theatres are filled for Kochadaiiyaan for years and years. I think people will like it. I would like to say in this 100th year of Indian cinema... when the history of Indian cinema will be written, it will be before Kochadaiiyaan and after Kochadaiiyaan," he said.
