Interesting Facts Revealed At Anegan Audio Launch

Actor Dhanush opened up to reveal a few important facts about Anegan at the movie's audio launch ceremony that took place in Chennai last night around 7 P.M. He said that initially he was afraid to act alongside yesteryear actor Karthik but the veteran actor never hesitated to speak to him casually. "While sharing screen space with Karthik I had to be careful because Karthik can easily steal the show with his acting prowess" he said.

He also said that KV Anand was the first director to showcase him in different avatars as his costumes in most of his films would usually be an old shirt, an old Pant and a pair of chappals.

Another interesting fact shared by the actor was KV Anand's role in Dhanush taking up his second Hindi project Shamitabh. He said "When Shamitabh's script was narrated to me, I had liked the story but couldn't nod my head as I had given the same dates for Anegan. When I told this to KV Anand, he asked me to go ahead with Shamitabh by adjusting my dates for Anegan".

When director KV Anand spoke, he too revealed some interesting facts about the movie. He said that Dhanush will be seen in intense romantic scenes in the film.

He has also revealed that the VIP actor did not refuse or express disappointment when he had to take part in some risky shots like holding his breath for 3 minutes under water and hanging on to a cliff at a height of 60 feet. "I had thought that Dhanush will definitely not act in some of the scenes but he was ever so ready to act in whichever scenes I asked him to do" said the director.

He also said that the story is set in the year 1982 and 1987 and will have some flashbacks from the character's previous life. "Harris Jayaraj has composed some folk songs that has a local flavour to it which is new for the music director" he added.
