Atlee To Direct Vijay?

Vijay, who is enjoying the success of his last-week release Jilla, seems to be accepting movies one after the other. The actor, who has already given nods to two movies, has reportedly given green signal to the flick directed by young filmmaker Atlee Kumar of Raja Rani fame.

Grapevine has it that Vijay has been approached by Atlee Kumar recently. They had talks on a project and the positive result is expected to be out in the coming days. The Raja Rani creator's story appeared to be fresh and Illayathalapathy was impressed by the narration.

Atlee Kumar had earlier worked with Shankar in Nanban. During these days, Vijay came to know about the director. However, other details related to cast and crew are yet to be revealed.

Vijay's next is a movie with maverick director AR Murugadoss. The film will feature Samantha in the female lead role. The project will kick-start soon. He has also given a nod to his long-time manager PT Selva Kumar's project, which will be produced by Thameen Films. The latest flick will commence once he wraps up the two committed films.

Meanwhile, Vijay's Jilla has completed its one-week successful run in theatres. The film has made wonderful business.
