CCL4: Chennai Rhinos Wins By 6 Wickets Against Mumbai Heroes

In the first match of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 4), Chennai Rhinos representing Tamil film industry has won by 6 wickets against Mumbai Heroes. The team headed actor Vishal Krishna chased the target 165 given by Mumbai.

At the end of the innings Chennai Rhinos scored 167 with the loss of 4 wickets in 19.5 overs. Actor and vice-captain of the team Vikranth, who opened the innings for Chennai won the Bright Cricketer Award, and actor Sharan won the Man of the Match.

The award function was graced by Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan with his brother Sohail Khan. Salman, who was overwhelmed by the sportsmanship of of celebrities said, "I am really impressed by our celebrities sportsmanship. All the players, who are in CCL will play like seasoned cricketers."

Along with Salman and Sohail, the event was also graced by Kollywood queen Trisha Krishnan, a Brand Ambassador for Chennai Rhinos and Sanchitha Shetty, Vijaylakshmi. Multilingual actors like Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar and others were also seen. Apart from Vishal and Vikranth, Chennai Rhinos team also had Jeeva, Vishnu, Siva, Sanjay, Shanthnu, Prithivi, Ramana, Srikanth, Shaam, Bharath, Jithan Ramesh, Uday and Bose Venkat. Meanwhile, Chennai Rhinos will be facing the CCL 3 Champions Karnataka Bulldozers in their next match at Chennai.
