Chennai Rhinos' journey in ongoing Celebrity Cricket League 4 (CCL) has come to an end with Bhojpuri Dabanggs defeating the Kollywood team by a huge margin. The two-time champions have ended the tournament in sixth place.
Having billed as one of the favourites to lift the CCL 4, the Tamil Nadu team started the tournament on a positive note. In the opening encounter, they beat Mumbai Heroes by six wickets and made people believe that they were in good touch.
In both the departments (Batting and Bowling), the Chennai Rhinos excelled in the first match. They confidently moved towards Bangalore to play their second match against arch rivals Karnataka Bulldozers. Indeed, they came up with a brilliant performance as they put on a huge total on board.
Brimming with confidence, the Chennai Rhinos appeared like they took the match lightly after scoring 193. Karnataka Bulldozers surprised them by batting brilliantly in the first 10 overs. However, the Tamil Nadu team returned to the game by picking up a few crucial wickets.
