Dhanush In Soundarya's Wishlist

Soundarya Ashwin, who is directing her father Rajinikanth in Kochadaiiyaan, wants to direct her brother-in-law. Yes, the young director, in an interview, has said that she wishes to work with Dhanush, the husband of her elder sister and director Aishwarya.

She was asked whether she wants to direct Dhanush for which Soundarya replied that she likes to direct him. The 'Kolaver di' hitmaker is a senior actor to her and she will see whether the actor gives his dates to her, the director hopes.

"Let's see...this (Kochadaiiyaan) is my first film and I would like to direct him. He is a senior actor, let's see if he gives me his dates," she said.

Talking about Dhanush's performance in Ambikapathy, Soundarya Ashwin said that he loved his role and she told him that he perfectly fitted his role. "I loved it! I told my brother-in-law how well he fit into that role of Kundan, and I loved the songs! He did an outstanding job in the film," Soundarya told IANS.

Meanwhile, Soundarya Ashwin is keeping high hopes on her mega-budget movie Kochadaiiyaan starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone. The film was supposed to release on April 11, but it has been postponed. It is likely to hit the screens in May first or second week.
