Gautham Menon Proudly Announces Ajith's Film

Finally, there is some clarity on Ajith Kumar's film directed by Gautham Menon. Well, the project, which was supposed to take off in February, will hit the floors on April 9. The news has been formally announced by the director.

A press release read, "We wish to announce that the much awaited project of mighty combination is all set to be launched on April 9.The cast and crew will be announced in detail shortly. Soliciting your support always!"

"Thank you for waiting, all you eager beavers out there, some patiently, some not so. Ajith, Ratnam sir and me. Shoot begins 9th," Gautham Menon confirmed the news on Twitter too.

Soon after the news of the movie launch was out, Ajith fans bombarded Gautham Menon with questions related to the project. Answering them, the director tweeted, "I can't wait to announce the rest of the cast and crew. Especially music. Please wait for a special announcement about the music director."

The buzz says that Gautham Menon has roped in Harris Jayaraj for the movie. Anushka Shetty will be romancing Ajith Kumar in the action thriller in which Thala will be reportedly playing the role of a cop.
