Tamil actress Dhansika, who is desperately looking for a hit movie to resurrect her sagging career, believes the secret to success in film industry is personality and performance. She is confident that she has good days ahead of her.
"I waited for meaty roles, had a hit-and-miss session in terms of films I've worked in, but my commitment nevertheless was the same. I'm sure my good days are ahead and I'm sure of succeeding," Dhansika said in a statement.
Having been raved for her performances in films such as Paradesi and Aravaan, Dhansika is yet to register a hit in her career. When the Tamil girl was quizzed how does she keep herself motivated, her immediate response was, "I'm an ardent devotee of Baba and Vaishno Devi. Regular visits to these shrines infuse courage and confidence in me spiritually and morally."
Dhansika has films such as Vizhithiru, Kaathadi and Thiranthidu Seesay, which are ready for release. The 24 year old actress made her on-screen debut with the supporting role in Tamil movie Thirudi. Dhansika has also won Edison Award for her daring role in 2012 release Aravaan, which was directed by Vasanthabalan. The actress was paired opposite actor Aashi and it was opened up for the mixed reviews.
