Hans Zimmer Speaks About Rahman

German music composer Hans Zimmer of The Dark Knight and Inception fame was honoured with a Life time achievement award at the recently concluded Zurich International film festival. In a chat with an Indian reporter, Hans Zimmer has spoken a lot about A.R. Rahman.

Hans Zimmer has said he had once invited the two time oscar winning music composer A.R. Rahman to play in his orchestra for reinventing the music of Oscars. He has also said that he shares a special bonding with the Indian music composer.

Hans Zimmer has also expressed keen interest in forming an alliance with Rahman and the duo has already discussed on the same. He also recalled an instance when A.R. Rahman visited Los Angeles for the first time and had to occupy a part of Hans Zimmer's studio which he thinks is A.R. Rahman's haven. Hans Zimmer has jokingly said that if he visits India he will station his studio in A.R. Rahman's studio for a while.

He has finally said, "AR Rahman is a wonderful man and extra-ordinary talent, he is everything you hope a composer would be" before signing off.
