The man, known for breaking records and creating history, has this time proved his popularity on internet as the trailer of his forthcoming movie Kochadaiiyaan has got never-before response. Indeed, in terms of views, it has broken the records of recent films like Vijay's Jilla and Ajith Kumar's Veeram.
The trailer of Kochadaiiyaan was released at the audio launch function of the film last Sunday (March 9). The fans of superstar have been waiting to get a glimpse of the Tamil flick from a long time and when the video clip was out, they gave a magnificent response to it. As a result, the trailer has got record number of hits on YouTube.
So far, the Kochadaiiyaan trailer has crossed 16-lakh mark, which is the highest for a Tamil film by any standards on YouTube. In less than two days, the clipping had fetched 12 lakh hits. The views for Vijay's Jilla and Ajith Kumar's Veeram by the same time frame was around 6 lakhs.

Poor CGI Quality
The CGI quality of the film has come under scanner. Many are drawing comparisons with Hollywood films and claiming that Kochadaiiyaan is made with poor standards.
However, Kochadaiiyaan is getting ready to hit the screens in April. Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone starrer film is directed by Soundarya Ashwin. Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Aadhi and others are in the cast. It is made with the budget of Rs 125 crores.
