Nayantara seems to be unstoppable ever since she returned to acting again. The actress, who made her comeback to Kollywood with back-to-back hits like Raja Rani and Arrambam, is being flooded with offers. The glamorous actress has now bagged Rajinikanth's forthcoming mega-budget flick Lingaa.

People would wonder why Nayantara has been signed when two biggies like Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha are in the cast. Well, the Billa girl has not been roped in to play female lead role rather for an item number. Yes, rumour mills say that she has been approached to do the special number in the forthcoming Tamil flick.

Nayantara has been offered the item number and she has reportedly given her consent. It is believed that no actress in South will turn down an offer to feature in a Rajinikanth movie and Nayantara, though a special number, too was happy to have bagged the offer and gave her nod. With her in cast, Lingaa has just got bigger and better. It may be recalled that she had earlier paired up with the superstar in Kuselan.

However, KS Ravikumar's Lingaa is simultenously made in multiple languages. It is produced by Rockline Venkatesh and Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu is doing a key role in the movie.
