Chennai Rhinos came up with poor performance once again as they lost the crucial match against Bhojpuri Dabanggs on Sunday (February 16). The match was played at Heavy Engineering Corporation International Cricket Stadium Complex, Ranchi.

Having won the toss, Chennai Rhinos chose to field first in the good batting track. Their decision to bowl first appeared to be right with Shiva taking the first wicket of Manoj Tiwari in the first over itself. But the one-down player Ajhoy Sharma along with other opener Pravesh Yadav played the spoilsport as they scored good runs in the first six overs.

For the second wicket, they put on 60 runs to take the Bhojpuri Dabanggs to a decent position. A Sharma lost his wicket by scoring 41 runs in 26 balls. He hit eight 4s in his entertaining innings. On the other end, opener M Tiwari was building his innings comfortably. After scoring 63 runs from 43 balls, he got run out.

But after Vishnu departed, opener Vikranth, who was the only hope, too walked to pavilion. He scored 22 runs in 16 balls. He hit four 4s and three 6s.
