Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi Reunite At Mohanlal's 80s Actors Party

The stars of 80s came together once again. It is fifth year in a row where all the South actors from 80s had a get-together, the annual tradition first started by Suhasini along with Lizy in 2009. This year, Mohanlal threw the party at his beachfront property in Injambakkam, East Coast Road on Saturday (January 18).

Thirty two actors from different South industries participated in the reunion. Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Telugu actor Naresh, Bhanuchendra, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Radha, Nadhiya, Khushboo, Kokila Mohan, Jayaram, Suman, Venkatesh, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Ambareesh, Sumalatha, Ramesh Aravind, Revathi and others were spotted.

It was a Hawaiian theme this year and stars sported printed shirts synonymous with the islands. Mohanlal entertained the guests by doing magic tricks in the party and presented portraits of all the participants and collector's edition paintings designed by an artist. It has to be noted that the event is only restricted to the actors of 80s and even their family members are not invited to the event.

Apart from the annual get-together, the celebrities keep in touch with a closed Google group.

The party was packed with full of banter, nostalgia and tomfoolery. However, the actors like Kamal Hassan, Nagarjuna and a few others missed the occasion due to their other commitments.
