Rajinikanth's Fans To Begin Padayatra To Tirupathi For Kochadaiiyaan Box Office Success

By Ramchander

Rajinikanth's fans are displaying their affection towards their matinee idol once again as they are set to launch a padayatra (journey by foot) to Tirupathi. It is for the success of the actor's forthcoming mega-budget film Kochadaiiyaan.

His fans club from Vellore district has organised a unique padayatra for the success of Kochadaiiyaan. They want the forthcoming Tamil flick to break the Box Office records. The padayatra is organised by Sholinghur N Ravi, the Vellore district treasurer of Rajinikanth fans club.

The padyatra will begin on April 2 from Sholinghur, a town under Walajapet taluk in Vellore district. Hundreds of people will take part in the padayatra to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. They will pray at the world famous hill shrine for the success of the film.

Meanwhile, there is still no clarity on the release date of Kochadaiiyaan. The film was planned to be released on April 11 for the Tamil New Year, but the announcement of the Loksabha polls during the same time made the makers of the film reconsider the release date.

The movie bosses are expected to take a call on the release date by this month end. However, Kochadaiiyaan is a mega-budget project directed by Soundarya Ashwin. Deepika Padukone plays the female lead role opposite Rajinikanth.
