Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan Advance Booking Re-Opens; Gets Flying Start

Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan advance booking last week had created a chaotic situations for both exhibitors and audience after the film was postponed. Now, it has begun again and the response is, as expected, great. The movie will release on May 23.

Abhirami Cinemas in Chennai has started the advance booking and is getting wonderful response. On the release day, Kochadaiiyaan will have 15 shows alone in this theatre in Chennai. And 85 percent of the tickets have been sold already.

An industry insider says that the response clearly shows how badly people are waiting for the release of Kochadaiiyaan. Even after getting negative talks from a section of people, the Tamil flick is being released worldwide with a mammoth expectation.

Many theatres including single screens will kick-start advance booking by this weekend. Kochadaiiyaan will release in multiple languages on May 23. It will release in more than 3000 screens. It will simulteneously release in about 10 countries like France, Srilanka, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, US etc.

The motion capture animated movie has Deepika Padukone playing the main female lead role. It has AR Rahman's music and Rajeev Menon's music with Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Ashwin helming the project.
