Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan is garnering massive response from audience as the tickets of the film is selling like hot cakes. Especially, in a leading cinema hall Mayajaal in Chennai, it is having a century show on the release day (May 23).
Mayajaal opened the ticket counter from last evening (May 19), four days before the release. It has 16 screens and all the screens have been dedicated to Kochadaiiyaan. It is having a record 100 shows on May 23.
Anticipating the demands, the theatre management has decided to have 100 shows on the release day. The morning shows begin as early as 7 am and the last show will be at 11 pm. For Rajinikanth's last movie Endhiran - The Robot, Mayajaal had 81 shows on the release day. In the following week, the shows were increased to 90.
Now, it is breaking its own record. The response is expected to remain same for the first weekend as there is a huge demand for tickets. Traders say that it is not the only case in Mayajaal as there are many other multiplexes that will have record number of shows.
Kochadaiiyaan is a mega-budget movie, which is having mixed pre-talks.
