Shruti Hassan To Romance Surya In Venkat Prabhu's Film?

Actress Shruti Hassan seems to have bagged an opportunity to work with Surya again. She had earlier worked with the Ghajini actor in AR Murugadoss' hit film 7aum Arivu. Well, she is reportedly teaming up with him in Venkat Prabhu's flick.

The buzz says that Venkat Prabhu had offered the film to Shruti Hassan recently and she had liked the script. The actress was impressed by her characterisation and she felt that it was challenging on her part to be involved in comedy flick.

Shruti Hassan's good working relationship with Surya in 7aum Arivu was also one of the reasons that made her give her consent for the untitled project. The actress is yet to sign the project on the dotted lines and she is currently working out her dates.

The Tamil flick had its muhurat on Monday (April 14) for the Tamil New Year. But the regular shooting will commence in June as Surya is currently busy with Anjaan directed by N Lingusamy.

The film has Yuvan Shankar Raja's music. Venkat Prabhu is yet to finalise his other cast and crew of the film, which is produced by Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green banner.
