Siddharth's outburst on Twitter over the postponement of his forthcoming movie Jigarthanda has created a controversy. The actor blamed the producer and other forces over pushing the release of his prestigious Tamil movie. Now, with the producer admitting that he is delaying his movie to avoid clash with Velaiyilla Pattathari, it is evident that Siddharth targeted Dhanush on the social networking site.
Dhanush and Jigarthanda producer Kathiresan are good friends. They had earlier worked together in National Award winning movie Aadukalam. This association made the producer to push his release. But this did not go well either with Siddharth or director Karthik Subbaraj as Kathiresan took the decision on his own without consulting his team.
This made Siddharth to express his anger on Twitter. He fumed over the postponement without naming Dhanush but it is now clear that it was targeted at the 'Kolaveri di' hitmaker. The Boys actor requested the fans to support his team and said that people can postpone Jigarthanda but cannot kill the movie!
Jigarthanda is a gangster movie, which also features Lakshmi Menon, Bobby Simha, Karunakaran, Prathap Pothen and others in the cast. Now, it is expected to release in the first week of August.
