Simbu-Selvaraghavan's Movie Shelved?

By Ramchander

Silambarasan was gearing up for Selvaraghavan's movie, which was tentatively called by the name Alaivarisai, and industry had declared that it would be one of the most-awaited movies in the coming year. But now, there is a buzz that the film is having some issues and also there is a possibility of being shelved.

Selvaraghavan and PVP Cinemas have locked horns over some issues and they are yet to sort out their differences. It is believed that the production house, which had decided to back unanimously the movie during its initial stages, is having financial issues.

The poor performance of Selvaraghavan and PVP Cinemas' last movie Erandam Ulagam at Box Office seems to be the main reason behind the issues. The shooting was supposed to start on April 25. Simbu and Trisha Krishnan were signed to play the lead roles.

One of the attractions of the movie was that Yuvan Shankar Raja, who split with Selvaraghavan a few years ago for some reasons, sorted out differences and gave nod to the project. However, we are yet to get unofficial confirmation on the developments.
