Is
Simran
working
with
Kamal
Hassan
again?
This
was
the
talk
which
was
doing
rounds
in
Kollywood
circle
in
the
recent
weeks.
Now,
the
news
is
out
straight
from
the
horse's
mouth
that
she
is
not
working
with
the
Universal
Star's
Drishyam
remake.
Simran
herself
clarified
on
this
and
denied
the
reports.
The
actress
has
claimed
that
she
has
not
given
a
nod
to
any
movie
as
of
now
and
she
will
open
up
about
it
at
the
right
time.
The
actress
said,
"I'm
not
doing
any
role
in
any
language
in
any
remake
of
Drishyam,
I
shall
reveal
my
professional
plans
to
the
media
at
the
appropriate
time".
In
the
recent
weeks,
the
rumours
on
Simran's
pairing
up
with
Kamal
Hassan
had
drawn
people'e
attention
considering
their
past
link
ups.
Earlier,
they
had
worked
in
films
like
Pammal
K
Sambandham
and
Panchathanthiram.
Their
back-to-back
association
had
paved
way
for
gossip
mongers
to
speculate
that
they
were
in
a
relationship.
But
those
speculations
ended
with
the
actress
marrying
Deepak
Bagga.
However,
the
forthcoming
film
starring
Kamal
Hassan
is
a
remake
of
Malayalam
hit
film
Drishyam,
which
featured
Mohanlal
and
Meena
in
the
lead
roles.
The
story
of
the
film
was
about
a
happy
family's
confrontation
with
a
sudden
twist
of
fate
and
how
they
react
when
exposed
to
the
struggling,
form
the
crux
of
the
story.
Jeethu
Joseph,
the
creator
of
Drishyam
in
Malayalam,
is
directing
the
Tamil
version
too.
