Sonakshi Sinha-Anushka To Star Opposite Rajinikanth?

While the industry is eagerly looking forward for the release of Kochdaiiyaan, the preparations for Rajinikanth's next film has already begun. As per the reports, KS Ravikumar is helming the project with Anushka Shetty playing the female lead role. Now, the latest buzz is that Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has been approached to play an important role in the forthcoming Tamil film.

Grapevine has it that the movie bosses have approached Sonakshi Sinha. While Anushka Shetty has given a green signal for the project, the Bollywood actress has not given her consent yet. KS Ravikumar will be writing screenplay and directing the film. It is interesting to hear that his former associate is penning the main story and dialogues for the film.

Pon Kumaran, who has earlier directed Priyamani starrer Chaarulatha, is the man behind the story and the dialogues. He made his directorial debut in Kannada with Only Vishnuvardhana starring Kiccha Sudeep. Prior to his debut as a filmmaker, he had assisted KS Ravikumar in some of his films.

Meanwhile, the buzz says that a huge set is being erected in Mysore. The major part of the film will be shot here. However, the makers of the film are tight-lipped about the project.
