Sonakshi Sinha herself could not have believed that she enjoyed such a huge fan following in Karnataka. The Bollywood diva's presence on the sets of her forthcoming Tamil movie Lingaa created security issues and it forced the makers of the film beef up the security.

Suresh Kumarswamy, production executive of Lingaa,
said: "Rajini Sir is a phenomenon and will remain so. The presence
of Sonakshi has added to the chaos which we often witness whenever
we shoot with Rajini sir."
He adds, "We are having a very tough time in Mysore. We didn't
know Sonakshi is so popular."

The production executive said that they never faced such issues
before and it is possibily the combination of Sonakshi Sinha and
Rajinikanth made people come in big numbers.
Lingaa marks the debut of Sonakshi Sinha in Tamil
movie. She had signed Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam but
walked out of the movie for some reasons.
Lingaa is directed by KS Ravikumar. Rajinikanth,
Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha are playing the lead roles.
