Sonakshi Sinha herself could not have believed that she enjoyed such a huge fan following in Karnataka. The Bollywood diva's presence on the sets of her forthcoming Tamil movie Lingaa created security issues and it forced the makers of the film beef up the security.
Yes, Sonakshi Sinha's presence in Mysore for the shooting of Lingaa gave tough times for the film unit. People from in and around the region were coming in huge numbers to get a glimpse of the actress and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. This forced producer Rockline Venkatesh to double the security.
If sources have to be believed, 50 cops and 30 bouncers were hired to complete the shooting. The makers of the film deployed them to shoot important portions in a government house and a few outdoor locations.
There were instances of public trying to break the security and enter the sets. The Lingaa team was worried about the development and Rajinikanth along with Sonakshi Sinha were not keen on being harsh to the onlookers. Hence, the security was beefed up.
