Suseenthiran's Next Flick On Cricket

Director Suseenthiran, who had earlier made a movie on kabbadi, is now ready to make a sports movie again. This time, he is doing a flick on India's most-popular game cricket.

Confirming the news, Suseenthiran said that cricket will be a key element in his next movie. It is based on the game and its players. But he refuses to give further information about the project, which will take off soon.

"Cricket will be an important character of my film. The story will revolve around the game and the characters in it. I can't reveal anything more at this moment. The film will go on floors soon," Suseenthiran told IANS.

The director has signed Vishnu Vishal, who had earlier worked with him in his directorial debit. The actor will be seen in the role of a cricketer in the upcoming Tamil movie. Manisha Yadav will be playing the female lead in the flick and the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised.

"I started my career with him and we have been good friends since then. I was supposed to do a film with him two years back, but it didn't work out. Since he is a good cricket player in real life, I couldn't think of anyone else to essay the role," he added.

Vishnu Vishal's signing to play the lead role has significance as he was the highest run-getter in Celebrity Cricket League 3.
