Watch Out For Deepika Padukone's Stunts In Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan

Deepika Padukone's role in Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan might be her best-ever film till date, as the Bollywood diva has been part of some extraordinary action sequences. Her work is being compared to the works of Uma Thurman's Hollywood film Kill Bill and Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft.

Co-producer K Murali Manohar has sung her praises for her ability to do the stunts on her own. She has been part of "never-seen-before action by a female star from any part of the world...on a par with Uma Thurman's Kill Bill and Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft," Manohar says.

Deepika Padukone says that she comes from a sports family and performing stunt sequence was a dream come true for her. There is a 10-minute action sequence in Kochadaiiyaan which has been choreographed by Peter Hein. Superstar Rajinikanth asked the stunt director make Deepika's action sequences "super-hero style".

Describing the action sequence, director Soundarya Ashwin said, "It's a fight with lots of acrobatic action. Deepika had to go through continuous and swift movement through various locations at a lightening speed. It's like a car chase on the feet."

"Bamboos and spheres were used. Action director Peter Hein has choreographed this sequence like he would have choreographed for any male hero. I feel it will be one of the highlights of the film," Soundarya concludes.
